Restaurant Flooring.

Grease-proof, slip-rated, hot-water-cleanable seamless floors from Epoxy Guys for commercial kitchens and dining rooms across Southwest Florida, built to the health code and the daily punishment of food service.

Restaurant flooring takes a beating no other commercial floor does: hot grease, dropped glass, constant water, daily deck-brushing with caustic degreaser, thermal shock from a spilled stockpot, and a health inspector who checks the floor-wall joint. A tile floor in a commercial kitchen is a grout-line liability. Epoxy Guys build seamless, coved, slip-rated kitchen and dining systems engineered for exactly this environment, on the diamond-ground prep foundation that backs every floor we install.

A kitchen spec is seamless and coved by design. After diamond-ground CSP-2 prep, we build with a 100% solids epoxy or, for the hottest and most aggressive lines, a urethane-cement system that takes thermal shock. The floor runs up the wall as an integral cove base so there is no joint for grease and food matter to pack into, the detail the health inspector looks for first. Anti-slip aggregate is broadcast to a grease-rated traction profile, drains and slopes are detailed into the system, and a chemical-resistant topcoat takes the daily degreaser without breaking down. The dining room gets a decorative-grade durable finish that ties to the concept.

Restaurant systems are the right call for commercial kitchens, prep and dish areas, walk-in coolers, bars, and dining and front-of-house floors. Epoxy Guys phase restaurant work around service so the doors stay open across Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and the surrounding Collier and Lee County markets. Every project includes an on-site evaluation, a health-code-matched spec, written scope, phased or overnight scheduling around service, and the same lifetime adhesion warranty. Why It Lasts

Why a kitchen floor passes inspection.

Seamless, coved, and grease-rated is the health code, not a luxury.

  • Seamless and coved. No grout lines, no floor-wall joint, the first thing a health inspector checks, and the first thing tile fails.
  • Grease and degreaser proof. Chemical-resistant topcoat takes hot grease and daily caustic deck-brushing without softening or hazing.
  • Slip-rated wet. Grease-and-water traction profile engineered into the build keeps the line safe when the floor is wet and greasy.
  • Thermal-shock tolerant. Urethane-cement spec available for the hottest lines, a dropped stockpot will not spider it.
  • Hot-water cleanable. Survives daily hot-water and steam cleaning that destroys lesser coatings.
  • Bonded for life. Diamond-ground CSP-2 prep and the real lifetime adhesion warranty Epoxy Guys put in writing, even under kitchen abuse.

The Process

How a restaurant install runs.

Phased or overnight around service. Seamless and coved is the discipline.

Step 1

On-site evaluation

Health-code requirement, line layout, drain and slope, and slab assessment. Spec matched to the kitchen, written scope.

Step 2

Overnight / phased schedule

Work sequenced overnight or in phases so service is not interrupted and the doors stay open.

Step 3

Diamond grinding

Mechanical CSP-2 prep and slab repair, the bond foundation for a seamless system.

Step 4

Integral cove base

Floor built continuously up the wall to a sealed termination, the joint the inspector checks, eliminated.

Step 5

Seamless system + aggregate

100% solids epoxy or urethane cement, grease-rated anti-slip aggregate broadcast, drains detailed in.

Step 6

Chemical-resistant topcoat

Grease-and-degreaser-resistant seal. Fast-cure scheduling so the line is back for the next service.

Common questions

Restaurant flooring questions.

The ones that come up most on quotes. Ask us anything else.

Why not just tile the kitchen?
Tile means grout lines, and grout in a commercial kitchen is a grease-and-bacteria liability the health inspector targets. A seamless coved system has no grout and no floor-wall joint, the exact failure points tile creates.
Will it pass health inspection?
The spec is built to it: seamless surface, integral cove base, sealed drains, cleanable chemical-resistant finish. These are the floor-level items inspectors check, and the system is designed to satisfy them.
Can you work without closing the restaurant?
Yes. Kitchen work is phased or done overnight around service so the doors stay open. We sequence prep, build, and fast-cure so the line is ready for the next service.
Will it survive hot grease and a dropped stockpot?
The standard epoxy spec handles grease and daily degreaser. For the hottest lines with real thermal-shock risk we build a urethane-cement system engineered specifically so a dropped stockpot will not spider it.
Is it slip-safe when the floor is greasy and wet?
Yes, a grease-and-water traction profile is engineered into the build with broadcast aggregate, not sprayed on. It keeps the line safe in the exact wet-greasy condition where falls happen.
Can the dining room match our concept?
Yes. Front-of-house gets a decorative-grade finish, flake, metallic, or polished concrete, durable enough for service traffic and styled to tie to the restaurant concept.
What is the warranty?
The same real lifetime adhesion warranty against bond failure for as long as you operate the space, engineered to hold under kitchen grease, heat, and daily caustic cleaning.
