Metallic Epoxy Cape Coral.
Poured metallic floors for rooms people actually live in. Epoxy Guys leave sample panels in your own room, prep the slab you actually have, and schedule the pour around the weather instead of the calendar.
Start with the room. Then pick the floor.
Almost every metallic floor we pour in Cape Coral goes into a space somebody spends time in, not a space they park a work truck in.
Cape Coral is laid out along roughly four hundred miles of canals, so a large share of the houses Epoxy Guys walk into have water on the back side and a wall of glass facing it. That changes the conversation. The rooms people want metallic in here are usually the finished garage that has turned into a gym or a car room, the Florida room off the back of the house, or an interior space that opens to the canal through wide sliders. Those are rooms with an audience. Flake is the workhorse. Metallic is what you choose when you want the floor to be part of how the room looks.
The light in those rooms is the first thing we bring up, and it is the part almost nobody has thought about. Water throws light back. On a canal lot facing south or west, afternoon sun comes off the surface, through the glass, and across the floor at a low angle, so a metallic that looked deep and quiet on a board under shop lights can read pale and busy once it lands. It runs the other way too. That is why we leave panels on the floor of the actual room and ask you to look at them at the hours you use the space, morning and late afternoon at minimum, lights off and then on.
Metallic tells the truth about your slab
Cape Coral housing runs from seventies and eighties originals straight through to the new construction going up right now, and the concrete under your feet decides a lot about what the floor can be. Metallic is thin, glossy, and reflective. It telegraphs. Every patch, every old saw cut, every low area where water stands after you hose the floor down, all of it reads through the gloss. Flake hides a fair amount of that. Metallic puts a mirror on it. So on an older slab we grind a test area first, look at what is really there, and tell you plainly what prep it takes to get flat and whether that moves the number. Newer slabs are simpler, though plenty still have joints and a soft trowel finish that need attention first.
If the room you have in mind is a working bay where a truck lives and tools get dropped, say so early and we will steer you toward garage floor coatings instead. If it is a lanai or a pool surround, that is a different system again, and anti-slip coatings or pool deck coatings are the honest answer. Talking somebody out of metallic costs us a job today and saves everyone a floor nobody likes later. Call (239) 300-0546 or reach us on the contact page and we will come look at the room.
Right room, wrong room.
We would rather have this conversation standing in the doorway than after the resin is down.
The garage that became a room
Gym, car room, workshop that is really a hobby space. The door is open half the day, the light moves, and the floor is the largest surface anyone sees. Metallic earns its keep here.
The room that faces the canal
Florida rooms and interior spaces behind big sliders. Bright bounced light all afternoon, so the color plan gets built around that window instead of ignoring it.
The bay you actually work in
Jack stands, dropped sockets, a welder, a boat trailer coming in wet with sand. That floor wants a system we can patch in place. Metallic cannot be patched invisibly.
Open deck and pool surround
Full sun and constant wet feet ask for texture and a different chemistry. If you want gloss near water, we build slip resistance into the spec rather than adding it later.
One pour, one chance.
A metallic floor is made while it is still moving. There is no second pass at the pattern.
Flake gives you outs. Gouge a flake floor and we can grind that area, broadcast fresh flake, and blend it back so you would have to be shown where the repair is. Metallic does not work that way. The pattern comes from how pigment moves in wet resin, once, and nobody reproduces that inside a two-foot patch. A repair means re-pouring everything the eye takes in at once, which usually means the whole room. So be certain about the room, the color, and the prep before anything gets opened.
Humidity decides the day. Southwest Florida is rarely dry, and Cape Coral sits on sandy soil with the water table close to the surface, so slabs here carry moisture and the air above them carries more. Both change how a metallic moves while it is open and how it comes out of cure, and too much of either leaves cloudiness or a soft skin. So we test the slab, control the air while the floor is working, and watch the forecast rather than the calendar. If conditions are wrong the morning we are scheduled, we will come back. Pouring anyway to protect a date is how people end up with a floor they apologize for.
Every metallic we pour comes out its own thing, which is most of the appeal. To see how differently one family of colors reads from room to room, the gallery beats any chip chart, and the Cape Coral page covers the rest of what we do here, including commercial epoxy work.
