Alva is a rural community in eastern Lee County along the Caloosahatchee River, with estate properties, agricultural land, and working garages that see real use.

Alva properties tend to have larger garage footprints and working-shop configurations that benefit from durable commercial-grade floor systems. Epoxy Guys handle both residential flake and metallic installs and tougher N.E.A.T. System installs for working shops. No travel surcharge to Alva.

Out here the floor we are asked to coat is often not the one attached to the house. Detached workshops, pole barns, and second garages sitting on the back half of a property were usually poured years apart from the home, with different finishing and no vapor barrier under them, and a barn slab closer to grade reads wetter on a moisture meter than a house slab does. On well water those floors also pick up iron and mineral staining from years of rinsing equipment down. None of that stops a coating from bonding, but it changes what we grind and which primer goes down first, so we walk every building on the property rather than price the main garage and guess at the rest.

What we install in Alva

For a business in Alva, it’s the N.E.A.T. System, our commercial floor for restaurants, retail stores, medical spaces, and warehouses. On the residential side, the Signature Garage Floor goes in over one day on a diamond-ground slab. For a showpiece interior, there are metallic and decorative finishes. Our lifetime adhesion warranty backs all of it.
