Pour It Once.

Metallic floors poured for Estero homes, condos and showroom spaces. We open up the slab first, plan the pigment against the light your room already gets, and treat the pour as the single shot it really is.

Newer concrete, different problems.

Most of what we coat around here was poured in the last twenty years or so, and that changes what the grinder finds.

This town grew up around its gated developments, and the garages we walk into reflect that. Pelican Sound, Bella Terra, Miromar Lakes, The Brooks, West Bay, The Vines: two and three car bays built from the late 1990s onward, laid down by a short list of builders working to similar plans. That predictability helps when you want a decorative floor, because we spend less of the day discovering surprises and more of it getting the surface right.

Younger concrete brings its own list, though. A hard steel trowel finish closes the surface tight, and cure-and-seal products get sprayed on at construction, so a slab that looks spotless will reject resin without a proper mechanical opening. Diamond grinding cuts through whatever film is sitting on top and profiles the concrete so the primer has somewhere to lock. There is no version of this job where we skip that step because the floor is young.

Flat matters more than clean

Metallic sits thin and reads like a mirror, so what ruins one is rarely dirt. It is geometry. A gentle dip near the door, a saw cut somebody filled years ago, a spot where the trowel machine dwelled a beat too long: each catches light differently once gloss goes over it, and the eye finds them instantly. We grind, then walk the room with a straightedge and a light held low, and show you what we see before anybody talks about pigment.

If your bay is a working space rather than a room you show off, we will point you at garage floor coatings instead and mean it. Call (239) 300-0546 or send a note through the contact page.

The slider decides the color.

Around here the lanai is half the room, and whatever comes through that glass lands on your floor all day.

Open the pocket sliders on a typical Estero floor plan and the living space and the lanai stop being separate rooms. Sun tracks across the screen enclosure, bounces off the pool deck or the lake behind it, and pours onto the concrete in a wide bright wash that moves hour by hour. A pigment blend behaves completely differently under that wash than under the shop lights where most people first see a sample.

Direct light flattens a subtle two-tone blend toward a single shade, while it deepens a bolder combination until the movement almost reads as marble veining. Neither result is wrong; what matters is knowing which one you are buying. So we bring cured panels to the house, set them where the sun actually lands, and leave them there through a full day.

What the topcoat has to survive

Sun does more than change how the color reads. Bare epoxy ambers under ultraviolet, which is why a floor poured behind a wall of glass without protection can shift warm over a few seasons. Anything we pour where sliders let light in gets a UV-stable polyaspartic layer over the pigment, and that layer is also the wear surface, handling chair legs, sandy feet off the deck and the mop.

For open deck and pool surround, gloss is the wrong instinct. Those surfaces want texture, and anti-slip coatings or a proper pool deck coating earn their keep outside the screen.

Condos, boats and cars.

Some of the best metallic work we do is not in a house at all.

Boat dealers, car dealers, medical suites, retail build-outs: rooms where the floor is part of the presentation and the merchandise sitting on it costs a great deal more than the coating does. Metallic works well in that setting, and it works better still as an inlay, a poured shape under a counter or a display bay while the rest of the space stays a calmer polished or flake surface. A whole showroom in high-gloss fights the product for attention; a defined pour ringed by something quieter draws the eye where the owner wants it. Larger scopes belong on our commercial epoxy page.

Working around a building’s rules

Condo and multi-family work adds a layer that houses do not have. Associations set work hours, elevators need protecting, and the grinding stage carries real noise for a few hours even on dust-collected equipment. Tell us the building’s rules when you call, and we keep the loud portion inside the allowed window.

How the day runs.

Five stages. The middle one is the part nobody gets to redo.

One

We walk it with you

Measure the space, check where the light comes from, look at the concrete you have, and talk honestly about whether metallic is the right call for how you use the room.

Two

Grind, then look again

Diamonds open the slab and take off any old film. Then we read the surface for high and low ground, patch what needs patching, and confirm the floor is flat enough to go glossy.

Three

Pigment approved on site

Cured panels stay in your room across a full day of light. Nothing gets mixed until you have looked at them in the morning, in the afternoon glare, and under the lamps at night.

Four

One pour, working fast

Base goes down, pigments go in wet, and the pattern gets moved while the resin still allows it. Heat and humidity shorten that window, so the crew is sized to finish inside it.

Five

Topcoat and cure

A UV-stable clear seals the pigment and becomes the surface you live on. We give you the real timeline for foot traffic, furniture and vehicles before we leave the site.

Heat shortens the window.

Resin chemistry does not care what day we put on the calendar.

Every metallic pour has a window: the stretch between mixing and the point where the resin stiffens past being moved. Warmth shortens it. Summers here run hot enough that a blend which stays workable for a comfortable stretch in a conditioned room can tighten up noticeably in a garage with the door open at midday. So we plan around it with earlier start times, the air brought under control where we can, and enough hands to work the whole surface at once.

Moisture is the companion issue. It lives in the air and in the slab, and both affect how a coating cures; a floor put down in the wrong conditions can haze, blush or stay softer than it should. Testing takes a fraction of the time that re-pouring a room does, so we test.

Why we will move a date

If a morning is wrong, we would rather come back than push through and hand you a floor that looks fine to us and wrong to you. A metallic pattern cannot be spot-repaired the way a flake surface can, because the movement happened once in wet resin and nobody reproduces it inside a patch. Fixing one means re-pouring the whole room, which is why we are slow at the front of this job and fast on pour day.

Photographs make the point better than words. Have a look through the gallery, then the Estero page for everything else we handle locally. Our metallic epoxy flooring page covers the system in more depth.

Estero, FL

Estero is on the route.

The town sits inside our primary coverage, with no travel charge added to a residential or commercial job.

Crews run through Estero most weeks, so a walkthrough is usually easy to arrange within days. We will look at the room, put a straightedge on the concrete, leave pigment panels behind if metallic is genuinely the right system, and follow up with a written number. Reach us on the contact page or call (239) 300-0546.

Better than two million square feet installed since 2012. Every metallic pour in Estero, FL gets the same prep and the same crews as the rest of that number.

Asked on nearly every Estero walkthrough.

Six that come up almost every time we look at a decorative floor here. Send us anything we missed.

My garage was built in 2015 and looks clean. Do you still have to grind it?
Yes, every time. A builder slab that looks perfect is usually sealed and hard-troweled, and resin needs an open surface to bite into. Grinding also shows us the high and low ground before any metallic goes down.
Will a metallic floor look right in a room that opens onto the lanai?
It can, and the slider is why we plan pigment on site. Bright light flattens a subtle blend and deepens a bold one, so we set panels where your sun actually lands and let you judge them.
Does a floor this glossy fade under all that sun?
Not with the topcoat we specify. Bare epoxy ambers where sun reaches it, so anything poured behind glass gets a UV-stable polyaspartic layer that takes the light and the traffic while the metallic underneath stays put.
I live in a condo. Can this be done without upsetting my neighbors?
Usually yes, with planning. Grinding is the loud part and runs a few hours on vacuum equipment, not all day. Tell us your building’s work-hour rules when you call and we schedule that stage inside the window.
Would metallic hold up in the bay where I keep my boat trailer?
Honestly, flake is the better answer there. Trailer jacks, dropped hardware and dragged gear leave marks, and flake can be reworked in place while a metallic pattern cannot be matched inside a patch.
What does a metallic floor run in Estero?
That depends on square footage, what the grinder finds in the slab, and how many pigments your color plan takes. We walk the room, measure, and hand you a written number rather than guessing over the phone.
